Oga è un piccolo paese di montagna (altitudine sul mare: 1500 m), in mezzo ad ampi boschi di conifere e contornato dalle più belle vette delle Alpi centrali (Ortles, Gran Zebrù,

Tresero, Thurwieser, Cevedale, S.Matteo, Confinale, Reit, Cima Piazzi, ..).
E' abitato stabilmente da poco più di 300 abitanti. Dopo le difficoltà degli anni '70 e '80, si assiste oggi ad una interessante ripresa: molti giovani scelgono di restare e persino di venire ad Oga dove mettono su casa e famiglia ed avviano anche qualche attività produttiva. La riapertura e il potenziamento della ski-area del s.Colombano non farà che bene ad Oga, dopo anni di "sofferenza" turistica e di apatia.

Oga is a small village in the muontains (altitude 1500 m above sea level), in the middle of wide forest of conifers and surrounded by the most beautiful peaks of the central alps. Little more than 300 inhabitants live there steadily. After the difficulties in the seventies and eighties today one can notice an interesting revival: a lot of young poeple choose to stay and live in Oga where they set up house, family and business, too. The reopening and the expansion of the ski-area of s.Colombano will certainly do nothing but good for Oga.
